Police seized over one thousand pounds of compressed Ganja in Braeton St. Catherine today (April 6), as part of investigations into the arrest of four Haitians on Sunday (April 4).
The St. Catherine south police say they have intensified efforts to put a dent in the illegal guns for drugs trade that operates between Jamaica and Haiti.
The four Haitians were apprehended in Naggo Head in Portmore.
Police say so far, the investigation has revealed that the men entered the island illegally and are facilitators in the guns for drugs trade.
Senior Communication Strategist with the JCF Dennis Brooks says the over 1000 pounds of compressed Marijuana was seized today.
