The Jamaica Constabulary Force is reporting a high level of compliance by citizens, so far, on the second day of the weekend lockdown.
Members of the JCF have been deployed across the island to enforce the first of three weekend lockdowns which began at noon yesterday (March 27).
The current restriction will end at 5 a.m. tomorrow.
Head of the Police Corporate Communication Unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, told Irie Fm News that citizens are abiding by the protocols and staying home.
She said most citizens were also compliant yesterday, however, there were a few cases of non compliance.
She is urging citizens to continue to be compliant.
SSP Lindsay is also reminding members of the public that house parties are prohibited.
