There is an impassioned plea from principal of Muschett High, Leighton Johnson, for Jamaican’s to put a stop to criminality, after one of his students was shot and wounded this morning (September 6), while on his way to school.
The grade seven student was shot in the shoulder, and left foot.
Mr. Johnson says, other students who saw what happened, have also been traumatized by the incident.
The Muschett High school principal says this morning’s incident is indicative of the lawlessness that permeates the society.
He bemoans the fact that there are some who have lost respect for the dignity of human life.
