Sean Paul headlines BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend Music Festival

Grammy-winning dancehall deejay Sean Paul is one of the headliners for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2020 set to take place next week.

On Friday, Sean Paul joined a multi-talented list of musicians slated to perform on the UK’s first official virtual music festival.

Sean Paul is expected to perform on Radio Stage 1, a stage which will also feature, Sam Smith, The Jonas Brothers, Rita Ora, and Ellie Goulding among others.

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is an annual music festival run by BBC Radio 1. However, this year’s festival had to be converted to a virtual one, as a result of the global Coronavirus pandemic.

The BBC Radio 1 virtual music festival will be streamed over the weekend of May 22-24.
