Selector Ricky Trooper has some strong words for Bad Boy Trevor after the comedic actor was arrested Monday for hosting a pool party amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
According to Ricky Trooper, the police should have arrested all who attend the party on Sunday, including the selector and patrons. Ricky Trooper further lamented that their actions are an embarrassment to the entertainment industry.
Bad Boy Trevor was charged with breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act, the Noise Abatement Act, the S.O.E Act, and the Spirit Licence Act. He is to return to court on April 24.
Dancehall deejay Elephant Man has also landed in hot water with the law after failing to declare to immigration officials that he visited Germany which is affected by the Coronavirus. He has since been slapped with charges of perjury and breaches of the Immigration Act. Elephant Man who was initially in self-quarantine is now being quarantined in a government facility.
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Jamaican government has announced a ban on all public gatherings.
Following a press briefing Monday, for a period of 14-days, gatherings at any public place should not exceed ten persons, effective Wednesday, March 25.
