With the last week of shopping before the Christmas holiday, small business operators are hopeful that there will be an increase in sales.
Small businesses have been badly affected by the pandemic and the measures implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19, including early curfew hours. The Government recently reduced the curfew hours allowing more time for business activity.
President of the Small Business Association of Jamaica, Michael Leckie says things are a little better at this time.
He states that sales have been flat for the better part of the year but business owners are optimistic.
