After his movie Second Chance sold-out movie theaters across America, Dancehall entertainer, and actor, Spragga Benz is gearing up to celebrate his birthday this weekend.
The event titled Frenzi Miami 20th Edition, will feature what Spragga describes as a surprise package of entertainers, plus five popular sound systems and selectors such as Foota Hype, Supa Twitch from Supa Sound, and Chromatic, among others.
Music News understands that part of proceeds from the event set to take place in Miami on Saturday, May 21, will go towards uplifting the quality of life for youths in Jamaica, and the Spragga Benz Stay in School Foundation.
Second Chance, a movie produced by the Spragga Benz Redsquare Productions and Top Notch Vision Films, has seen successful turnouts at its movie premieres held in Florida, Atlanta, and New York.
Directed by Jamaican-born, US-based Cleon James, Second Chance tells the tale of a Rastafarian with a university degree, who aspires for a white-collar job. His hopes are crushed when he faces discrimination for his religious beliefs. Frustrated, he becomes influenced by friends and gets into trouble. He is, however, given a second chance to make good with his life.
The lead role is played by Spragga Benz, who is popularly known for his breakout role in the 2002 film Shottaz alongside Ky-Mani Marley.
