Grammy-winning dancehall producer Stephen Di Genius might have a young musician in the making with his daughter Laia.
Having to host his daughter at home for home school due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Di Genius shared that his six-year-old daughter asked him to make a beat. Di Genius did not hesitate, as he shared a short preview on his social media pages, of his daughter spitting rhymes about the novel Coronavirus.
According to DiGenius, the lyrics and melody were all her doing, all he did was hit record.
Laia is the granddaughter of veteran reggae singer Freddie McGregor, and niece of dancehall entertainer Chino McGregor, and might just be the latest music star from the McGregor clan.
