Sunshine girls Jhaniele Fowler and Shamera Sterling were once again among the statistical leaders, as the curtains came down on the 2022 regular season in the Australian-based Suncorp Super Netball League.
Fowler…the reigning MVP, scooped the leading scorer award after amassing a record 808 goals.
The West Coast Fever sharp-shooter also led the league in offensive rebounds with 46 and was also first in Nissan net points 1438.
She will next suit up for the fever who play the Melbourne Vixens in the major semi-final.
Sterling meanwhile underlined her status as the league’s best defender, finishing first in intercepts 52, second in defensive rebounds 37…….4th in deflections 67 and third in Nissan net points with 1,177.5.
Also among the statistical leaders was Shimona nelson of the playoff-bound Collingwood magpies who was second in scoring with 661 goals and 4th in offensive rebounds on 35.
