A suspect has been taken into custody, in relation to a case of buggery involving a five year old boy in St. Ann.
This is the second case of buggery in the parish in recent days.
Just days ago, a 13 year old girl was also buggered in the parish by five men.
Head of the St. Ann Police, Superintendent Dwight Powell says the case of the five year old, was reported yesterday (May 2) and the suspect was arrested the same day.
He says as for the other incident involving the 13 year old girl, all five men are now in custody.
Superintendent Powell says it is unfortunate that a month which should mark the celebration of children, has started off on grim note for children in Jamaica.
He is urging adults to care for the nation’s children.
