The teenager accused of severing the penis of a 6-year-old boy, in White horses, St. Thomas, was remanded when he appeared in the St. Thomas parish court today (August 14).
The 16-year-old is facing charges of wounding with intent, and it’s also alleged that he stabbed the six-year-old several times and severed his penis.
It has been reported that the teenager was on bail for an offense involving another little boy.
His attorney Tamika Harris says the matter will be transferred to the children’s court.
The judge approved the attorney’s request for the social inquiry report and psychiatric evaluation.
Both are expected to be available when the teen appears in court on September 2.
The six-year-old remains hospitalized.
