A thirteen year old student is among three persons shot and wounded in Falmouth, Trelawny, this morning (September 6).
All three have been hospitalized.
Police reports are that the teen and two men aged 37, and 50, were at the intersection of Georges and Market streets, when a station wagon motor car drove up.
A man alighted and opened gunfire, hitting the three persons.
They were taken to hospital, and admitted in stable condition.
The teen attends Muschette High school in Trelawny.
Head of the Trelawny police, Superintendent Dwight Powell, says the teen was not the target of the shooting.
He adds, that counselling is being offered to the parents and the teen’s classmates.
