Tommy Lee Sparta remains in police custody

Dancehall deejay Tommy Lee Sparta remains in police custody after turning himself in on Tuesday.

The dancehall deejay was expected to partake in a question and answer session with members of the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC), and the Organised Crime Investigations Division (OCID), today, after spending the night in the Freeport police station lock-up in Montego Bay, St. James.

On Monday, Tommy Lee Sparta given name Leroy Russell was listed as a person of interest by the police, and was given until midday Tuesday to turn himself in.

Tommy Lee Sparta a Flanker native, who no longer resides in the second city, returned to the city for questioning as requested by the police, and was detained under the current State of Emergency (SOE) in the parish of St. James.
