The Ministry of Transport has revoked the drivers licenses of some twelve persons, as a result of breaches of the Road Traffic Act, reported via the Drive Safe App.

The app, which was launched by the Ministry in December, allows road users to anonymously report those who breach the road code.

Giving an update on the app, at the launch of the Ministry’s Driver Training Programme yesterday, (Feb 04) Transport Minister, Robert Montague, noted, that close to 2000 Jamaicans have downloaded the app to date.

The minister said, he is encouraging all drivers to download the app, in an effort to improve the nation’s roads.
