Two police officers have been taken into custody and another is being sought in relation to the murder of a man in Red Hills St. Andrew, at the weekend.

Dead is forty-nine-year-old Phillip Wallace, a tiler of Green Glade Close, Red Hills, St. Andrew.

Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that at about 10:41 a.m., Wallace was under a shed talking on his cellular phone, when he was pounced upon by three gunmen travelling in a motor car, who opened fire hitting him several times.

Wallace was pronounced dead at hospital.

Speaking during a press briefing yesterday (July 18), Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey said the men who carried out the killing are believed to be cops.

He said two suspects have been arrested, while the third cop has fled the island.
