by October 14th, 2021

The United States Embassy in Kingston has updated its travel advisory for Jamaica, outlining additional prohibited areas of travel.

There is a level four travel advisory in place for Jamaica, which advises US citizens against travel to the island, due to high levels of Covid-19 and crime.

In an update yesterday, the embassy listed additional communities in Kingston, Clarendon, St. Catherine and St. James, as criminal hotspots.

The police have reported that murders so far, this year, have increased by 10%, compared to last year.
