by March 7th, 2022

Despite the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of the West Indies Mona campus says it saw an increase in the number of students graduating from the institution last year.

Speaking at a campus council meeting this morning, Principal Professor Dale Webber noted that all faculties saw an increase in students graduating.

The increase was more significant for the undergraduate programmes.

Professor Webber added that more students also graduated with upper-class degrees compared to previous years.

There were some 4,000 graduates from the UWI Mona campus in 2021.
