by February 28th, 2018

The opposition has blasted the government for not sticking to its word for the re-verification of the voters list.

During this morning’s session of the Standing Finance Committee, Finance Minister, Audley Shaw, was questioned about the re-verification of the voters list.

Mr Shaw was asked, if there was an allocation in the budget for the culling of the voters list, to which he stated that there was none.

This did not go over well with Opposition Member, Julian Robinson.

The finance minister responded that the government has put fighting crime, as a critical agenda item.
