Shooting in Flankers St. James-Two dead

Two men are dead and a third is battling for life in hospital after their vehicle was sprayed with bullets along the Flankers Main Road.

Reports are that shortly after 9:30pm yesterday four men were travelling in a silver Toyota Mark X motor car along the Flankers Main Road.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the flankers stop light intersection. Another car pulled up alongside them and men armed with high powered weapons jumped out and sprayed The Toyota Mark X with bullets.

Two of the occupants died on the spot while the third occupant received gunshot wounds to his upper body. The fourth occupant managed to jump from the vehicle and fled the area.

The police were alerted and upon arrival all three victims were rushed to the hospital where two were pronounced dead and the other admitted in intensive care.

Residents in the area have now joined the police in search of the fourth man who is believed to have also being shot but managed to run from the vehicle.

Over the past three days 13 persons have been gunned down in Montego Bay.
