Work continues apace to deal with the myriad of woes plaguing the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
Staff and patients at the facility have been falling ill since last year.
Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton says remedial work continues on the multi storey facility.
Dr Tufton says it will take some $2 billion dollars to restore the hospital to optimal working condition.
He says the government is committed to fixing the problem as closing down the facility is not an option.
Dr Tufton says before the end of the calendar year things should be back to normal.
