Over 700 acres of former sugar lands in Raymonds, Clarendon, are to be leased to Jamaica flour mills, and UWI SODECO.

The arrangement will allow for the cultivation of breadfruit, cassava and sweet potato, which will be then used in the production of gluten free flour.
